This Low Voltage Rescue LVR CPR training course is designed to provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage a casualty involved in and perform rescue from a live LV panel. It is also designed to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Learning outcomes for LVR CPR training include the emergency procedures for the rescue and the skills required to perform rescue of a victim from a live LV panel:
- Inspection of rescue equipment
- Hazard identification – manage accidental electrocution
- Isolation
- Knowledge of Safe Approach Distances
- Low voltage rescue procedure
- Knowledge of the correct use of the LVR Kit
- CPR and AED theory and practical assessment
- Involvement of eternal emergency services
